a sincere apology.
my lifeless body
swinging from a fucking tree.

seemed synthetic,
my pathetic piss-poor poetry.
weak words, all worry.
but I was all smiles
life’s a joke, ain’t it funny?

why the rush,
what was the hurry?
I couldn’t take the weight; crushed.
sad end to sorry stories.

to leave this life,
the loved ones left behind
my death, a knife.
to exist only in mind.

I saved my breath,
in silent cries of death.
but it won’t be in vain.
never feel pain again.
